We’re Ready to Go! Well, Almost!
This is a copy of the flyer we distributed last week throughout the area surrounding our commercial kitchen in Hayward! We plan to set up every Thursday outside Kitchens by the Hour on 2365 Tripaldi Way in Hayward and serve a particular item from our catering menu on that day, starting off with smoked baby-back pork ribs, and then regularly cycling through selections of beef brisket, chicken, and pork/beef sausage after that.
We’ll post more information shortly on the particulars and ingredients of each Thursday smoke-a-thon. But for now, this is the plan, and we look forward to bringing real Texas-style pit-smoked barbecue to everyone in the area! A huge thanks to all our Hayward neighbors who participated in last week’s rib test! We’re glad you like our ribs and we appreciate all of your feedback!
The only kink in the plan off the bat is that a severe storm is expected to blow through the San Francisco Bay area on Thursday 1/20, the day we planned to begin. Therefore, we’re going to postpone our first event until the following Thursday, 12/27. We’re sorry for any inconvenience, but this storm is supposed to be a doozy! So assuming the Mayan calendar is wrong and we’re all still around after Friday, we’ll see you on Thursday 12/27 after Christmas!
